Yellow paint Poem

Written by Jolie Brownell

Streets lined with yellow paint:

BLACK LIVES MATTER.

These letters hollow,

That is until the next black body drops,

More yellow paint.

Another unarmed black body slain,

More yellow paint.

How much yellow paint

does it take to cover up a body?

How many bodies can you hide

underneath all this yellow paint?

When will one realize yellow paint

don’t mix well with blood?
